
LEVELS OF CERTIFICATION
BASIC
For caregivers, care coordinators, first responders, community services staff, healthcare providers, counselors, and patients. Focus on epidemiology and etiology of brain injury, outcomes, treatments, chronic illness, and concussions. All can qualify to take this level of training.
BASIC PLUS
For caregivers, care coordinators, counselors, health care providers, community services staff, life skill coaches, and first responders. Focus on ICRP, motivational interviewing interventions, assessments, and ethical and cultural considerations.
ACADEMY
L1: INTERMEDIATE
For counselors, life skill coaches, health care providers. Focus on specific assessment and individually-tailored interventions and application of ICRP across the stages of recovery.
L2: ADVANCED
For counselors, life skill coaches, health care providers, psychologists, and rehabilitation professionals. Focus on in-depth training on management of complex issues and cases, shows experience, submit case study, and advanced examination.
L3: EXPERT
For mental health professionals, rehabilitation psychologists, neuropsychologists, and rehabilitation professionals. Demonstrates mastery of ICRP model, can teach and supervise, takes course on teaching and supervision, shows experience, submit case study, passes advanced examination.
