Our Intention

Train laypeople, direct staff, healthcare providers, psychologists, and counselors on the identification and treatment of brain injury, including in various populations and with co-occurring issues. Continue to develop integrative cognitive rehabilitation psychotherapy to treat brain injury with co-occurring issues simultaneously within a holistic framework that maximizes the potential for recovery. Integrate evidence-based care and best practices for traditional co-occurring issues through accommodation to cognitive issues and innovation. Provide education on the application of skills, research of interventions, and training supervision. Provide respectful, professional, and caring support that is ethically and culturally appropriate to people living with brain injury and those learning how to best care for them. To enjoy the process of learning, developing collegial learning communities, collaboration, and partnering with people living with brain injury across diverse cultures.
